Another shopping day. Almost done (1 person left). I can't believe how fast this year flew by. Crazy fast.
Have I mentioned that I hate shopping? I really do. The only plus is all of the unconscious exercise (walking, lifting, pushing). Definitely better than sitting on the couch, although after a long day it's nice. Even during a lazy day it's nice. Oh who am I kidding. I heart my couch. Dare I confess that it's because it gives my hubby static electricity and he shocks himself every.single.time he gets up lolol. Even the monkey boy notices, because it's one of the make believe games he plays. He pretends to shock himself when he gets up to go in the kitchen lolol.
Anyway I walked exactly 2.5 miles (5292 steps) and then went Christmas shopping w/ the hubby and monkey boy. It amazes me how much he is understanding. He sees toys in our cart and I tell him they are for his friends and cousins, and he understands. HE UNDERSTANDS. That just blows my mind.
Still no 30 day shred. I remember to do it like right before bed. I feel like I might be boycotting it in some way (I feel a tantrum coming on...I don't wanna do it! I don't wanna! I don't wanna! no. No. NO! I just don't want to do it!), but am SO proud of Erin for doing it. She's almost done! Like practically done pretty much. Today is day 27 if I am counting correctly. I really can't believe how fast the time flew by. You go girl! Go give that girl a high five. She's awesome for sticking to it and getting her entire family envolved. (sorry Erin! I will still finish my 30 days if it kills me though. It might take me a few months but I'll do them!)
Work in the am. *sigh*

Day 319 (day 4 / week 45)
I am so tired, I can't believe I am posting this right now instead of being in bed.
Today was a work day and I did my usual stuff, and 10,936 steps. I got home late--after 9pm.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of a 30DS challenge that I am participating in with Erin @ Nagle5 News. I am changing it a little to accommodate my 12.5-13 hour work days (I am gone from the house from 6am until 8-9pm when I work) but I am still participating. Wanna join us? I am going to do it on my off days, along with whatever I do on the Wii Fit.
This morning I just did my weigh in and Wii Fit Age. Here is a pic.
(Mii jumping up and down excitedly)
Have a good night. See you tomorrow night! Stay safe, warm, happy and don't use any of the previous things as an excuse not to exercise (being safe is important though...) lol.

day 149 (day 2 / week 22)
Today I did a total of 64 minutes of exercise--speed walking 2.20 miles in 34 minute and 30 minutes of circuit training all of this:
| 2 sets | 15 reps | |
| 2 | 15 | |
| 2 | 15 | |
| 2 | 15 | |
| 2 | 15 | |
| 2 | 15 | |
| 2 | 15 | |
| 2 | 15 |
At the beginning of the week, I mentioned my "swollen" left ankle. Well, it's still "swollen" so I don't think it has anything to do with the jogging. In fact, I don't think it's swollen at all, I think that my left ankle is just a little fatter than my right. lol. I guess it's has always been this way, and I just didn't notice until this week. :) (maybe I should start measuring my ankles to see if they are getting thinner too lol).
On my walk today, I tried to jog a little, but my knees would not cooperate. I probably need to start over again, although someone told a friend of mine said that jogging was like riding a bike--it's easy to get back into after time away. I think she is skeptical, and so am I. I will just take it slow, again. :)
It's Friday! (just in case you live under a rock but have internet access) I am so glad I exercised early. Now I have the whole day to not think about it!
Make today count, it's so worth it!

day 126 (day 7 / week 18)
I just got done exercising and now
I'm salivating over a cookie that Erin over at Nagle5 News posted on her blog today. She linked the recipe to that scrumptious looking cookie, which led to even more goodies! I must joke around about wanting sugary treats, more than I actually want them, because my former self (before the sugar strike) would have gladly baked them. right now. But I feel fine. I miss it, and think it looks absolutely delish, but I think I am fine without them :). for now. (lol).
Today I did Turbo Jam's Cardio Party and if I thought I was sweaty yesterday, I was seriously mistaken. Today I am super sweaty. Just what everyone wants to hear about, right? A big sweaty girl drooling over cookies. mmmm.
Ok well off to take a shower and start the day!
Go check out Erin's blog. Bake those cookies, and eat some for me! :) *evil laugh* muahahaha! muahahaha! If you don't like the cookie idea (shame on you!) then go check out the cute bag she made. Yes! She made that! (super talented chica). i totally want one now lol
I hope everyone has a great one! Make today count!

Day 27 (day 6 / week 4)
Thank you for all of your responses for yesterday's blog. I felt like I was in a better place to exercise today, so that was nice.
I exercised twice today (not really intentionally). I woke up with the intention to exercise right away because I had an exercise invite for this morning at 6am. I got about 20 minutes into the workout and was miserable, so I stopped. 20 minutes is fine with me. I just felt like I didn't have the energy.
I made some super yummy EVIL snickerdoodle muffins (thanks Erin--she has other great super yummy (and probably evil >:-) recipes also on her Nagle5 News blog), gave Logan a bath, and then cut his hair (HUGE accomplishment--he doesn't really let me come at him with his brush lol). It took me an hour lol. I felt a sense of peace and accomplishment after cutting his hair and putting him down for a nap w/out a stuggle, that I wanted to exercise.
My intention was to do "Ramp It Up!" (phase 2, I miss it *tear* lol), but I forgot that, "Burn It Up!" is on a completely separate disk from the first 2 phases, and I was too lazy to switch out the DVD--baby locks and all (lol wanting to exercise but too lazy to change a DVD lol). So I just did Burn It Up...and...
*Dora music starts* I did it! I did it! We did it! Yay! lo hicimos! (we did it) (we did it) horray!
I did the entire thing without skipping through sections. I think I need to go count everything so I know what I'm up against. I'm almost sure I'll feel stronger to do it all, if I just know what those darn numbers are lol! I dread the lunges because my knees hurt. I went to the store yesterday to get glucosamine, but didn't put it on a list (cause it was the only thing on it) so came home with everything and the kitchen sink BUT the glucosamine lol. Once the lunges part is over, I'm happy and have no problem doing the rest of the workout (The last 2 days skipped over the lunges surprise, surprise! :-O)
Tonight for dinner I am going to make these Easy Chicken Quesadilla's and the Corn and Red Pepper Salad to go along with it (Thank you Wendy--she has healthy recipes on her blog tomatotomata if you are interested--also has nutritional info! yaay!). I originally didn't want to put red peppers in it, cause my hubby doesn't like them, but I decided he needs to get over it lol. If he doesn't like what I cook, he can go to bed without dinner (echoing childhood memories lol). I am also going to add the other veggies she suggested, just cause Logan likes veggies, and I have them on hand (cucumbers and cherry tomatoes).
I hope everyone has a wonderful workout and/or rest day (or rest vacation!).
I can't thank God enough for all of the support I am getting with my resolution. You are all HUGE blessings! Thank you!
