Wednesday 11/11
Yesterday (Wed) I had my final ECG class. I remembered to wear my pedometer this time. I walked 1.5 miles with an estimated 10lb backpack (thank you Loree for the conversion website! :)). It was in about 45 minutes or so split up twice throughout the day, because other than the time we were walking, we were in class sitting on our buts until it was time to leave or switch rooms. The fun part about class yesterday was that it was my LAST class, and I took my final. I passed with a 98%--I sped through one strip that was Sinus Tach with a PAC at the very end, and I didn't catch it YAARRR! (my pirate lingo). That took 2 points off my exam, hense the 98% (that bugs me so much lol). Anyway that class is done and over with so now I just need to see what the director of our unit wants to do with my newfound knowledge. Yaay :).
A little bit of exercise, mixed into a whole lotta life...exactly what I expected to achieve on a busy day.
If I can find ways to do it, so can you. I promise it gets easier as the days go on. I've had 313 days of practice. Someone at the very beginning of the year commented on my blog when I was struggling with exercising daily. She said something along the lines that soon it won't be about the exercise part (having to do it) but will be about "what am I going to do today for exercise." (sorry that thought came out very choppy...I hope you understand the jist of that thought). Very, very true. I can honestly say that I am there.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your support and for all of the wonderful things that you guys say to me (in comments and emails) to encourage me and keep me going over the last 11 months. EVERYTHING you guys say sticks with me and I just want to thank you for helping to mold me into this new person who is more blessed, confident and active. You all have helped and blessed me more than you know!
Off to exercise for the day (Thursday).
I can do this. I am a star.
